How Our Specialist Is Vetted
Anyone can buy a listing on a lead site. This site works differently: one local rat specialist takes every call, and he earned the spot in person — not with a credit card.

The standard
- License verified. His Idaho State Department of Agriculture applicator licensing was looked up and confirmed current — the same public lookup anyone can run.
- Insurance in hand. A current general liability certificate, physically reviewed — not promised, not "pending."
- Work observed. Before taking a call from this site, his exclusion work was watched on real jobs: does he actually seal entry points with chew-proof materials, or just set traps and leave? Does he explain the fix to the homeowner, or sell fear?
- Written guarantee. A callback policy in writing is a condition of taking calls here. If the work fails, the return visit is on paper, not on a handshake.
- References checked. Property managers and realtors who send him work were asked how he handles problems — because everyone looks good when nothing goes wrong.
- Recorded calls. Calls through this site are recorded for quality. How customers are treated is monitored, not assumed.
Why one specialist, not a list
Lead marketplaces sell your call to three, four, five companies at once — you're the product, and the companies are whoever paid that month. We chose the opposite: one operator, known personally, whose standard is enforced. If the work ever slips below it, the calls move to the next vetted operator. That's the whole business model, and it's why a name stands behind this site.
Who stands behind it
Treasure Valley Rat Control was founded by a local veteran and builder who has spent his career judging tradespeople by their work — framing, fabricating, and fixing things across Idaho and Alaska. He doesn't perform pest control himself, and this site won't pretend otherwise. What he does is simple to say and hard to do: find the right person, check him the hard way — in person, on real jobs — and then put this site's name behind him. The name stays behind him only while the work stays at that standard. If it ever slips, the calls go to someone else — and you can always reach this site directly to say so.
For pest control operators: if you believe your work meets this standard and you'd like to be considered as a future vetted specialist,
use the contact form and choose "Pest control operator — applying to be vetted." The form reaches this site's owner directly. Be ready to show your license, your insurance, and your work.
